Famous Californian doctor Jay Goldberg died after hiking in Los Angeles park
A famous Hollywood doctor died while hiking in a Los Angeles park last weekend, according to a report.
Jay Goldberg, an OBGYN in Beverly Hills from Cedar-Sinai, was found dead Sunday by first responders inside Will Rogers State Park, Fox News reported.
Goldberg, 53, has been determined to have died of a heart attack.
Goldberg’s celebrity clients took to social media on Friday to mourn the beloved doctor’s untimely death after he was identified as the hiker.
‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Teddi Mellencamp wrote a moving post mourning the passing of an “incredible doctor” who gave birth to her children.
She posted a video of Goldberg’s appearance on the reality show with his family.
“I write this with the heaviest of hearts as we mourn the passing of Dr. Jay Goldberg. An amazing doctor to so many, he delivered all of my babies saving Cruz’s life,” Mellencamp wrote. in the caption.
“I’m sure the many families he helped will be forever grateful to him. Our prayers and condolences go out to his family and loved ones as they grieve with the hope that remembering all the good he has done will bring some comfort during this difficult time.
Annemarie Wiley, wife of retired NFL defensive end Marcellus Wiley, thanked the late doctor for delivering his children.
“RIP Dr. Jay Goldberg. He delivered my three babies and got me through two indescribably difficult deliveries safely,” she said. said in a press release from her husband’s Twitter account, along with photos of Goldberg with her husband and newborn baby.
“He was a gift to so many people. Holding my babies tight tonight And thanking him for all he has done for me and my family,” Wiley wrote.
