Golf in Greenwich for Fairfield County Children’s Learning Centers

Play golf for a cause

Fairfield County Children’s Learning Centers (CLC) held their 5th annual golf outing on September 13 with over 100 golfers and supporters at Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich. One of CIS’ signature events, the Golf Outing, was chaired by David Kooris, hosted by Tim Oberweger, and raised over $100,000. Sponsors included Reckson and Mavis Discount Tire as title sponsors, KKR’s Emcor and Rich Sarnoff as lunch sponsors, Moffly Media and Greenwich Magazine as media sponsors as well as Remedy+. Cadillac of Greenwich sponsored the hole-in-one contest. After a day of golf, attendees enjoyed a reception that included silent and live auctions and a paddle raise to benefit CLC, the second-largest early childhood education nonprofit based in a center in Connecticut.

All proceeds from the 5th Annual Golf Outing will be used to support CIS students and programs. “Fairfield County Children’s Learning Centers plays a vital role in helping and educating children and their families in our community. We appreciate our sponsors and the golfers who participated in our annual golf outing. It was a fun day on the course, and raised us vital funds to support CIS’s extensive and ongoing efforts for our community,” said CIS General Manager Marc E. Jaffe.
