Rush Ranch site for weekend outdoor activities


SUISUN CITY – Solano Land Trust is opening Rush Ranch to the community this weekend for a pair of outdoor activities.

Mindfulness Yoga and Meditation Hike, Saturday 9-11 a.m., Rush Ranch: A 30-minute social-distance mindfulness meditation session with Barbara Fredericks is followed by a yoga hike. Participants will be guided through a seated meditation surrounded by fresh air and bird songs from Rush Ranch, followed by an optional yoga hike. Contact [email protected] If you have any questions. Rush Ranch is located at 3521 Grizzly Island Road, approximately 3 km from Suisun City.

Get the Rush, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Rush Ranch: Solano Land Trust docents will have exhibits and share Patwin program activities to coincide with Native American Heritage Month. The usual blacksmith shop, Suisun Marsh walk and the storybook walk in partnership with the Solano County Library are also planned. This event is free.
