Teens to Trails offering guided outdoor activities in the Midcoast, July 23
MIDCOAST – On Saturday, July 23, all day Teens to Trails offers guided outdoor activities in the Midcoast. These excursions are designed for people to get to know the organization while allowing adventurers to experience first-hand what middle and high school outdoor clubs might enjoy during the school year.
People can choose from hiking Ragged Mountain or the Rhealt Trail in Camden, sea kayaking in Penobscot Bay, mountain biking at Camden Snow Bowl, a 25-mile bike ride, or packrafting on Lake Megunticook. All tours are in the afternoon and donations to Teens to Trails are welcome. Donations can be made through Venmo @TeenstoTrails or online at teenstotrails.org/donate.
That night, Teens to Trails hosts a sold-out party in the hills at a private Lincolnville farm; it will be a festive outdoor event with a serious goal of raising $45,000 to support Teens to Trails’ vision that all Maine teens have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors together.
