This was to raise funds for the QE2 Activity Centre, a registered charity providing activities for people with disabilities, based in the national park.

A total of £1121.09 has been raised which will help the QE2 Activity Center continue to provide day sessions and services for people of all ages with additional needs including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and sensory impairments.

Gary Sinfield, a member of the Independents and one of the organizers of the outing, told the Daily Echo: ‘We wanted to support QE2 after visiting and seeing the passion and enthusiasm of the staff. It’s a great place for people with additional needs to come and try different activities.

“We also want to change people’s perception of bikers. We look forward to working with the QE2 Activity Center on other projects in the future. »

Southampton Ukulele Jam performed a driving set of old standards like Blitzkrieg Bop and Should I Stay or Should I Go.

Center director Phil Oates added: “We love it when our community comes together to support us. And our community is very large and very diverse, as are the people we serve.”
