Fagradalsfjall (Reykjanes peninsula, Iceland): The seismic activity continues with little change because the number of earthquakes was lower than that of the previous days.
1300 earthquakes were detected on December 28, which is much less compared to the day before when 2300 earthquakes were detected.

Shiveluch (Kamchatka): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo has warned of a plume of volcanic ash that has risen to an estimated altitude of 14,000 feet (4,300 m) or flight level 140 and is moving at 20 knots in the northeast direction.

Suwanose-jima (Ryukyu Islands): The Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) published the following report: EXPLODED AT 20211 230 / 1722Z VA CLD UNKNOWN OBS VA DTG: 30 / 1720Z

Kilauea (Hawaii): (30 Dec.) Effusive activity resumed after 2 days since the lava lake ceased to be active.
Following a resumption of a strongly ascending volcanic tremor at around 6:50 p.m. local time yesterday, lava came out shortly after, at around 7:10 p.m. local time.

Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai (Tonga, Tonga Islands): (30 Dec.) The explosive eruption of the volcano continues characterized by dark and dense masses of pyroclastic material and currents close to the ground known as base surges, typical signs of surges and phreatomagmatic eruptions.
Another spectacular footage was recorded by eyewitnesses from the floating boat during the eruption on December 28.

Nevados de Chillán (Central Chile): Explosive activity continues. The Buenos Aires Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) warned of a volcanic ash plume that rose to an estimated altitude of 12,000 feet (3,700 m) or flight level 120.

Nyiragongo (DRC): The Volcanic Observatory of Goma (OVG) reported that the intense activity on the southern flank of the volcano continues.
Field research from December 23 to 29 reveals that activity is concentrated between Kibati, Shaheru and Mudjoga.
