Celebrity teams from the United States and Europe will compete in the Ryder Cup Celebrity Match as part of the week-long events program at Whistling Straits in Sheboygan County.
The teams include a mix of stars from the worlds of cinema, sports and beyond.
Here is the list of the American celebrity team:
- Mike Eruzione: 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team captain and gold medalist
- AJ Hawk: Former Green Bay Packers linebacker and member of the Super Bowl XLV champion team
- Dan Jansen: West Allis native speed skater and United States Olympic gold medalist
- Rob Riggle: Actor, comedian and former US Marine Corps officer
- Kelly Slater: 11 times surfing world champion
- Mandy Rose: WWE NXT Wrestler, Bodybuilder and Model
And here is the list of the European celebrity team:
- Alessandro Del Piero: Italian football legend and World Cup champion
- Tom Felton: Actor and musician best known for his role as Draco Malfoy in film adaptations of Harry Potter fantasy novels
- Toni KukoÄ: Former Chicago Bulls star and three-time NBA champion who played the last five seasons of his career with the Milwaukee Bucks
- Teemu Selänne: Former NHL star, six-time Olympian and Stanley Cup champion
- Stephanie Szostak: Actress whose film credits include Devil Wears Prada, Dinner for Schmucks, Iron Man 3 and RIPD
- Sasha VujaÄić: Former NBA player and two-time NBA champion
The Ryder Cup Celebrity Game will be played on Thursday. Playing in three groups of four, the starting times will be: 8:30 am, 8:45 am and 9:00 am. Groups will play 11 holes – Nos. 1, 9 and 10-18.
Members of the US Junior Ryder Cup team will serve as caddies.
